2012-"OUR GOAL"- TEN THOUSAND PROJECTORS INSTALLED IN THE WORLD

PEN MOTION PICTURES CORP

A Brief Story

In December 2005, Regal/Edwards Theaters tested the Neltron 4-Color Projector from Pen Motion Pictures Corp. in one of their largest cinemas that has a 40 x 27 foot screen in Ontario,  Ca, causing a tremendous impact in the industry.

In January 2006, Pen Motion Pictures Corp. presented its 4-Color LCD/DLP combo at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas during the 2006 CES (Consumer Electronic Show).

Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) was formed in March 2002 as a joint project of the motion picture studios (Disney, Fox, MGM, Paramount, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal and Warner Bros. Studios) to develop a system specification for digital cinema. In cooperation with the American Society of Cinematographers, DCI created standard evaluation material (the ASC/DCI STEM material) and developed tests for 2K and 4K playback and compression technologies. DCI published their specification in 2005.

During the convention, TI (Texas Instruments) refused to sell their 1080p-DLP chips to
Pen Motion Pictures Corp. DCI verbally said to the industry that the PMP projector does not have their endorsement, therefore can not be used. (A boycott against PMP).

PMP has, and will have, the rights to market their projectors to Indie Movies, TV Soap-Series and World’s Events using any Independent Satellite Network (up/download).

Live broadcasting to movie theaters

Digital cinemas can deliver live broadcasts from performances or events. For example, there are regular live broadcasts to movie theaters of Metropolitan Opera performances and events like World's Soccer and Olympic Games.

Live Shows from around the World can also be played in Digital Cinemas/Theaters via Satellite.

PMP proposes the usage of their System called “HD-MAX", complete with a
30,000 Watts-Dolby-THX-Pink Floyd Audio System” for under $150,000 FOB Van Nuys, CA.
